If you’ve ever played competitive sports where you were chosen to be a part of the team, I'm sure it made you feel special. Knowing that someone wants you and believes in you does something to the ego, it makes you feel good and being chosen by God is truly no exception. Knowing that God looks at you, your faults, your missteps, your failures and still chooses you is of great encouragement. Out of all the people in the world God chose you. Why? Because He loves you and He knows you and He knew those who by faith have chosen Him. What great privilege and benefits knowing you belong to Him! You are chosen, royal, holy, and you belong to Him.
