By Our Love

“And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name (1 Chronicles 29:13).”

Can we ever do enough to thank God?  King David didn’t think so and as such, He sought to convince others to do the same. 

David loved the house of God and led by example encouraging others to demonstrate their love for God as he did through work and action.  While it demonstrated the character of David it conveyed the appreciation and love he had for the God who had called him, strengthened him, and was a constant presence in His life.

Our love for God should be more than mere words but shown through thoughtful acts for someone else.  It is our love for others that conveys our love to God!
