Building Patience

“Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.” James 5:7-8

We sure would like to think so, wouldn’t we, that the Lord is coming soon? Hearing of the continual and ongoing violence and hatred spread all around our world, one echoes the frame; “come Lord Jesus come, let your will be done”. But God isn’t operating according to our timetable, He sees outside of the sphere of our understanding and level of patience. God has one objective and that is that all come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ (see 2 Peter 3:8-9). Yes, waiting is difficult, not unlike the farmer who has toiled long and hard waiting for a crop to appear, he confidently believes, a crop is coming and so is our Lord!

So, remain firm in your stance and be patient trusting in God’s promise, He is not bound by our time, but He is faithful to His word. #waiting #waitingontheLord #bepatient #stand #wait #prayer #patience #besteadfast #TrustGodsTiming
