Begin With Encouragement

“Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do. For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.” Philippians 3:17-18

Getting started on the right foot is important in achieving goals. It’s not about how quickly you get anything done but what you do to encourage success. Seeing someone who has achieved a goal that you set for yourself is extremely encouraging. It lets you feel that you too can experience success.

As the new year begins there are many who have set goals they want to achieve and are looking for encouragement. Hopefully one of those goals is to build your faith and that too is something that can be accomplished as you look at those who have paved the trail before you. The Apostle Paul set just that kind of example. If he had a motto, it might have been “follow me as I follow Christ”.
