Anger Management
January 9, 2019Little things can set off a wave of emotions especially anger. Triggered by unfairness, injustice, as well as your interpretation of an event (whether right or wrong), anger can give full vent to reacting without a sense of self-control. Trying to gain control means acknowledging your anger and quieting the intensity that unsettles your soul. Whether you like it or not such upheavals can be the difference in reconciliation of a broken relationship to the loss of promotion or job opportunity. When allowed to get out of control it can be disastrous. It’s important to get the facts before experiencing an explosive episode and it doesn’t take much for an episodic explosion. “A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict, but the one who is patient calms a quarrel (Proverbs 15:18).” While you might seek and desire to live a peaceable life, not everyone has the same objective that you may have.
