God Rescues and Rewards

“Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.” Psalm 37:7

You see them, the wicked, the ones who consistently do evil. They’re agitating, frustrating, pulling at your very last strand of patience, what do you do? You wait and trust God.

Just as the Israelites experienced God’s protection and deliverance, you have that promise too in Christ. “So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgement (2 Peter 2:9 NLT)”. Evil will not always win. A day is coming when everyone will give an account of their acts. In the meantime, trust God, do good, reject evil.
