Take In HIS Word

“Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Fear the LORD, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing.” (Psalm 34:8-9)

Our senses tell us whether something is good or not especially when it comes to food. And when it comes to food it is in tasting it that we determine whether it’s safe or harmful to eat. The Lord is good and the way to know this is to taste Him, that is, to take in His goodness, His good pleasure and then you will see He is good and worth digesting. Until you encounter Him, you will never know just how good He is.
