Sing His Praise

“Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.” Psalm 150:6We were created to worship God and one of the ways we do this is through our praise. For some, praise doesn’t come easy but if you begin to think about all the things God has done praise should be an automatic response. Consider your abilities, the way you are able to get about throughout the day. That is not the privilege of everyone. Praise demonstrates our gratitude and respect for the One who keeps us, the One who is the keeper of our souls. His power, His grace, His mercy are all worthy of honor and praise. But let me tell you this, God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). In other words, when you exhibit/express praise to God He joins you and is present with you in your praise. When you experience that kind of praise you just want to continue in unending praise. It is through praise that God joins us bringing joy, light, and comfort no matter what you’re going through. Praise confuses the devil because he doesn’t understand why you’re praising when life isn’t going quite like you expected. However it is in praise you recognize that you are going to the One, praising the One who can fix the bad and continue to bless you in the good. So today take a moment and begin to sing praises to God. I promise you it will change your outlook on life, lift your spirit, and usher you into the presence of the Almighty God!Psalm 150Praise the LORD.Praise God in his sanctuary;praise him in his mighty heavens.Praise him for his acts of power;praise him for his surpassing greatness.Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.Praise the LORD.
