Imperfect but Forgiven

“Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.” Psalm 32:5

Sin has a way of preventing forward movement and slowing spiritual growth. Satan wants to constantly remind us of where we fell short of the will of God, but King David understood that it was God that he sinned against and not man. David also shows us that although our sin is ever before us, it is when we confess them to God that we are freed from its grasp. So, yes, we are imperfect human beings, but we are also spiritual beings raised up from the snare of sin by the blood of Jesus Christ and thus declared not guilty. God is bigger than anything we have done. So, confess to Him, let go of the past, and give your future to His promise. #Repent #confession #GodForgives #GodRestores #Godisfaithful #GodKeepsHisPromises #GodKeepsHisWord #TrustGod #raisedinChrist #TheBloodOfJesus #LetGoLetGod #seethesonrise
