By His Spirit

“Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.” Hebrews 3:15

It’s not uncommon to hear people voice their anger with God. Maybe He didn’t answer their prayers the way they wanted, or they didn’t get what they wanted, they need someone to blame and because God is all powerful, He could have changed or aligned their circumstances with their will. But when we died to self and rose in Christ, we took on a new life. God is good even when we don’t get what we want. When we accepted Christ our desire(s) should be His desire. That means joining Him in what He’s doing. We are no longer living in the flesh but in the Spirit, a Spirit that seeks His intention(s).
