”Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12
The sun was setting and as beautiful and as brilliant as it was, I was unable to gaze at it. Its light shown so bright that one could only comprehend its energy, the warmth, and the vastness of this brightly beaming star. It made me think of creation when God said “let there be light”. Who can comprehend it? In three little words (“let there be”) nothing became something.
Our God is incomprehensible. He spoke and the world was created. That is the kind of power He wields, the kind of power that created the universe and all that is in it. What’s even more amazing is that when others say something can’t be done, He can do it. There are testimonies after testimonies of God doing the unthinkable, healing the afflicted; defying mankind’s limited ability to understand how the impossible can be made possible. The answer is simple “God did it”! He is all powerful, the supreme power, all knowing, aware of the past, present and the future, and He is ever present, always with us.
The power of God is worth contemplating. He is unlimited in capacity. Through every trial, through every sickness, through every financial challenge, in addiction, depression, loneliness, barrenness, and through every insurmountable problem you face, you can rely on Him!! He is the blessed hope for a dark world! He is “The Light of The World”!
